Sky has commissioned The 100 Day Split, a new relationship reality series produced by Bright Entertainment, part of ITV Studios.
The format follows six long-term couples who have reached a turning point in their relationships and are challenged to live apart for 100 days in order to reassess their future together.
Across the 12-part series, participants step away from their shared lives to focus on personal growth, rediscover their individual identities, and explore new routines, ambitions, and even romantic possibilities. Rooted in therapeutic approaches and guided by experts, the experiment encourages honest reflection and emotional distance as a way to confront unresolved issues.
At the end of the 100-day separation, couples reunite to decide whether their relationship can be rebuilt or whether their time apart has revealed a different path forward. The series forms part of Sky’s broader strategy to expand its slate of distinctive original content, combining emotional storytelling with bold, high-concept formats.
