HBO has released a new trailer for the third season of Euphoria, offering a first look at what’s to come.
In the footage, Rue Bennett, played by Zendaya, is seen being interrogated by DEA agents, hinting at serious trouble ahead.
The new season of Euphoria takes place several years after the characters have graduated from high school, marking a significant time jump in the story. Consisting of eight episodes, Season 3 is set to premiere on April 12, with new episodes airing weekly in the US.
This chapter will see the characters grappling with themes of faith, redemption, and the nature of evil, while evolving dynamics, particularly between Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Maddy (Alexa Demie), come into sharper focus. Visually, the series adopts a more cinematic approach, having been shot on both 35mm and 65mm film.
The upcoming season also introduces notable new faces, including Sharon Stone, Rosalía, and Natasha Lyonne. Season 3 is expected to serve as the show’s final chapter.
