After years of heavenly highs and hellish lows, Michael Sheen and David Tennant are reuniting for one last mission to save the universe in Good Omens.

Prime Video has confirmed that the Good Omens finale will consist of a feature-length 90-minute special, centering on the fallout of Aziraphale and Crowley’s heartbreaking separation. As Aziraphale struggles with his new bureaucratic duties in Heaven and the complications of a wayward Second Coming, Crowley finds himself at rock bottom in Soho, setting the stage for a deeply personal reunion that will determine the fate of existence itself.

The production of this final chapter has not been without its real-world complexities. Amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding Neil Gaiman and the serious allegations made against him, the show’s conclusion was restructured to move forward without Gaiman’s direct supervision on set, though it remains a tribute to the world he co-created with Terry Pratchett.

With Bilal Hasna joining as Jesus and a star-studded cast returning to navigate the apocalypse, the special promises to provide the emotional closure fans have long awaited. The final expedition begins globally on May 13, marking the end of one of modern television’s most cherished fantasy partnerships.
