OGM UNIVERSE proudly announces Reborn (Çarpıntı), a captivating new prime-time drama from one of Türkiye’s leading production companies, OGM Pictures, set to premiere on Star TV by September 2025. With its heartfelt storytelling, striking visuals, and powerful mother–child themes, Reborn (Çarpıntı) is already one of the most talked-about titles of the season.

Starring Sibel Taşçıoğlu, Kerem Bürsin, Lizge Cömert, Deniz Çakır, and Şerife Sezer, and directed by acclaimed Golden Boy director Burcu Alptekin, the series tells a story of family ties, forbidden love, and long-buried secrets.

A Story That Lives Beyond the Heart

The series begins with a single, life-saving moment: Aslı Güneş (Lizge Cömert), a young woman born with a serious heart condition, receives the heart of Melike Alkan, the beloved daughter of a powerful family, killed in a car accident.

For Reyhan Alkan (Sibel Taşçıoğlu), Melike’s grieving mother, Aslı becomes more than a survivor, she becomes the living reminder of her lost child. Drawn to her, Reyhan welcomes Aslı into her life, searching for solace in her presence. But Hülya Güneş (Deniz Çakır), Aslı’s own mother, a sharp-eyed opportunist, sees the Alkan family’s grief as a doorway to influence and wealth.

Aras Alkan (Kerem Bürsin), Melike’s protective cousin, is determined to keep Aslı and Hülya away, convinced they cannot be trusted. Yet over time, his hostility toward Aslı turns into an unexpected and passionate love.

The series asks: Who gets to decide whom you call “mother”, fate or you? Is a mother the one who gives you life, or the one who stands by you?

A Global Drama Rooted in Emotion

Filmed with cinematic care and emotional honesty, Reborn (Çarpıntı) continues OGM Pictures’ tradition of bold, character-driven dramas that connect with audiences worldwide. Set against the contrasts of Istanbul, from humble neighborhoods to the cold elegance of the Alkan estate, the series explores love, loss, and the invisible ties that bind us.

With its universal themes, high production values, and magnetic cast, Reborn (Çarpıntı) is ready to captivate viewers everywhere.

“REBORN (ÇARPINTI) is a story that goes beyond borders, both emotional and geographical. It touches on deeply human themes like love, grief, identity, and belonging in a way that is both unique and universal. With a cast led by some of Türkiye’s most acclaimed and internationally recognized actors, the overwhelming response to our first teaser, 6.2 million views in just 48 hours, shows that audiences are already connecting with this story. We can’t wait to share it with the world,” said Ekin Karaman Koyuncu, Global Distribution & Partnership Director at OGM UNIVERSE.
