Netflix has shared the official trailer of its new mini-series A Round of Applause by Berkun Oya. Starring Aslıhan Gürbüz, Fatih Artman and Cihat Süvarioğlu, the mini-series, which offers an unusual perspective on life, marriage and parenthood, will be available exclusively on Netflix at the same time on 29 February.
A mother, a father and a child who longs for the days when oranges had a vitamin… A Round of Applause, which spans decades and centres on a nuclear family, tells the story of family members’ conflicts with each other and the society that surrounds them.
THE STORY OF A ROUND OF APPLAUSE
Zeynep (Aslıhan Gürbüz) and Mehmet (Fatih Artman) become a family when their son Metin (Cihat Süvarioğlu) joins them, while Metin questions the nature of his own existence within this life.
Produced by Krek Film and consisting of six episodes, A Round of Applause is preparing to impress the audience once again with its original narrative woven with realism and supported by an extraordinary humour.
