Netflix’s new psychological thriller Unchosen stars Siobhan Finneran, with Christopher Eccleston and Asa Butterfield also joining the cast.
Unchosen was created and written by Julie Gearey, who previously worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and Coronation Street.

The story revolves around Rosie and her family, who live in a secluded Christian sect. The arrival of escaped prisoner Sam forces Rosie to question her place within the community and the state of her marriage. Asa Butterfield plays Rosie’s husband Adam, while Molly Windsor stars as Rosie and Fra Fee portrays Sam. Finneran and Eccleston take on the mysterious roles of Mr. and Mrs. Phillips, with few character details revealed.
The teaser hints at a dark and violent undercurrent beneath the seemingly peaceful community. Originally, the series was known under the working title Out of the Dust.
No official release date has been announced yet, but the show promises to be a compelling and must-watch drama.
