Netflix Announces the Air Date of its New Series ‘Kübra’

Netflix shared the date announcement of its new series “Kübra”, starring Çağatay Ulusoy and produced by Yağmur Taylan and Durul Taylan, with a special video. Murat Uyurkulak, Rana Mamatlıoğlu and Bekir Baran Sıtkı wrote the screenplay of the series based on Afşin Kum’s novel of the same name. The series is produced by OGM Pictures and produced by Onur Güvenatam.

In the cast of the new series Kübra, Çağatay Ulusoy in the lead role is accompanied by Aslıhan Malbora, Ahsen Eroğlu, Nazan Kesal, Cihan Talay, Aytek Şayan and Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan. Kübra will be released on Netflix on 18 January at the same time with the whole world.

THE STORY OF THE SERIES

Gökhan is an ordinary young man living in one of the suburbs of Istanbul, trying to get his life on the road to marry the love of his life. This ordinary life starts to change with a message from an account named Kübra in a virtual application he is a member of: “You are different!” Gökhan realises in time the meaning of this message, which he did not care at first, and who Kübra is, who gives him information and warnings about unexpected events that no one knows about. Gökhan’s acceptance of this reality leads him on a challenging journey. In this journey, Gökhan will have enemies as well as supporters. And Gökhan will find himself as a party to a war that he sees as “the war of darkness and light”.
