Jurassic World Rebirth was among the most anticipated films of this summer. Starring the famous actress Scarlett Johansson, the film made a huge splash at the box office, marking the most spectacular opening of 2025.

As a reboot, Jurassic World Rebirth grossed $318.3 million worldwide in its opening weekend, achieving the highest opening numbers for a studio film in 2025. With this impressive debut, Scarlett Johansson also made history, becoming the highest-grossing actor of all time globally thanks to Jurassic World Rebirth.

Earning $171 million in international markets, Jurassic World: Rebirth also became the second highest international opening in the Jurassic Park franchise. Additionally, the film’s earnings have currently surpassed titles like A Minecraft Movie and Lilo & Stitch.

On the other hand, another major summer release, F1, experienced a 54% drop in its second weekend, earning $26 million over three days. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, the film has reached a total box office $293 million in 10 days. This performance at the box office brought great satisfaction to Apple, as F1 became the company’s highest-grossing film to date.

Meanwhile, what the upcoming Superman film will achieve at the box office is a matter of curiosity. Expectations are quite high for this new Superman movie directed by James Gunn, which will be released in theaters on July 11.
