HBO Max Announces New Turkish Original Series ‘Mira’

Warner Bros. Discovery’s premium streaming platform HBO Max has announced its new Turkish HBO Original series, Mira.

The first teaser has been released, offering a natural and intimate storytelling style that presents a slice-of-life narrative. Written and directed by Meltem Bozoflu, the series stars Nehir Erdoğan, Yiğit Özşener and Nezaket Erden in the lead roles.

Synopsis:

Mira’s 10-year marriage is suddenly turned upside down when her husband unexpectedly asks for a divorce. Struggling to stay afloat in a world she is entirely unprepared for, she embarks on a journey to rebuild her life, rediscover herself and redefine who she is.

Exploring themes of financial dependence, social pressure and the courage it takes to start over after separation, the series offers viewers a hopeful and emotionally resonant story.

Produced by BKM, Mira will premiere soon on HBO Max.
