HBO Max is expanding its global footprint with the launch of the platform in 12 new Asia Pacific territories as part of its ongoing international growth strategy.
Beginning March 26, the service will become available in Bhutan, Fiji, Kiribati, the Maldives, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
The move follows recent launches in Italy and Germany and comes ahead of the platform’s upcoming debut in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
HBO Max offers a broad content slate spanning DC Universe titles, Cartoon Network programming and HBO originals, alongside Max Originals, major Hollywood films and unscripted series from Discovery and TLC.
Launch highlights include Sinners, One Battle After Another, House of the Dragon, The Pitt, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Rooster, and season three of Euphoria.
The HBO-branded streaming service currently operates in 112 countries worldwide.
