What were your highlights at this year’s MIP Cancun?
Goryana Vasileva: We showcased three exciting new additions to our catalogue, for which we recently secured global distribution rights: Chains of Fate, Flames of Love, and Chasing the Sun.
Chasing the Sun is our new daily drama, following Güneş, a young woman who’s just graduated and dreams of moving to London to build her future. But when her brother is imprisoned due to slander, she must put her own dreams aside. Her journey is full of secrets, challenges, and unexpected twists, where love can be both a comfort and a challenge. It’s a story that pulls you in and keeps you invested in every turn.
Chains of Fate and Zümrüdüanka are high-production dramas with strong characters and layered stories. They combine emotion, suspense, and family dynamics in a way that feels real and relatable, perfect for audiences who enjoy rich storytelling without losing the heart of the drama.
How do these titles align with current trends in the Latin American market?
Goryana Vasileva: At the moment, the Latin American market is showing a notable shift back toward classic, relationship-focused and family-driven dramas, as opposed to highly stylized content. This trend creates an ideal window for stories that offer authenticity, emotional connection, and broad audience appeal. We believe Chasing the Sun, Chains of Fate, and Zümrüdüanka align perfectly with these preferences and have strong potential to perform well across the region.
