Global Agency stages ‘Vendetta Gathering’ in Cannes

Global Agency organized an exclusive gathering for the international launch of its hard-hitting series Vendetta on the second day of MIPCOM, attended by the powerful drama’s leading cast members Yagmur Yuksel and Baris Baktas, Uniq Film, Rains Pictures and Kanal 7.

The event, held during MIPCOM in Cannes, brought together industry professionals, international media, and the leading stars of the series, Yuksel and Baktas. The drama has already garnered significant interest from buyers worldwide. It is achieving very good results in the countries where it is broadcast.

During the event, the cast met with global industry figures and then, at a press meeting, Yuksel and Baktas spoke with media, answering questions about the drama and sharing insights into their roles. Vendetta is poised to make a powerful impact with its compelling storyline and strong performances, further elevating Turkish drama on the global stage.

The guests enjoyed the party with live music and a special dance by the lead actors was a highlight of the night. The actors, who have a very large fan base all over the world, gave their fans a nice surprise: They read the messages they received for the ‘Vendetta Gathering’ event and shot a special video for those who made the 3 most liked comments.

The event started with a celebration dinner hosted by Global Agency, where the series’ cast, producers and channel came together to mark the international success of Vendetta. The evening also included a red-carpet appearance by the cast, adding a touch of glamor to the opening day of MIPCOM.

Vendetta tells the moving story of Dilan and Baran and the marriage they are forced into to end a blood feud despite the hostility of those around them, igniting a passion that will either blossom into love or bring devastation.

The series’ third season is being aired daily on Kanal 7. It has racked up 201 commercial hours in the first season and 319 commercial hours in the second season.

About Vendetta

Vendetta tells the moving story of Dilan and Baran and the marriage they are forced into to end a blood feud, triggered by an attack on Baran’s parents, which leaves him struggling to bring peace to a conflict-filled family. The powerful drama revolves around a treacherous uncle’s plot to get his hands on the family fortune by pressuring Baran to take revenge. Desperate to prevent a spiral of violence, Baran vows instead to marry his enemy’s daughter and, discovering that this is Dilan, finds himself torn between love for her and hatred of her family. Despite hostility around them, Dilan and Baran realize the spark between them is set to erupt into a passion that will either blossom into love or bring devastation.
