Filming Begins in Adana for ‘Güneşin Doğduğu Yer’ (Where the Sun Rises)

ATV’s highly anticipated new series Güneşin Doğduğu Yer (Where the Sun Rises) has begun filming in Adana ahead of its upcoming season.

Produced by TİMSBİ Productions, with Timur Savcı and Burak Sağyaşar serving as producers, the series is written by Yıldız Tunç and directed by Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı and Çiğdem Bozali.

As the cast arrived in Adana, the first behind-the-scenes images from the set were also released. Burak Özçivit, who returns to the screen as Kenan Kozan, and Sibel Taşçıoğlu, who plays his mother Celadet Kozan, appeared together on camera for the first time.

The first images from the duo’s opening day on set offer a glimpse into the relationship between Kenan and Celadet, while their chemistry as mother and son has already caught attention.

From Germany to Adana

Güneşin Doğduğu Yer (Where the Sun Rises) begins its story in Germany before continuing in the harsh, passionate and conflict-ridden world of Adana.

With its compelling story and strong cast, the series is set to be one of the standout productions of the upcoming TV season. Güneşin Doğduğu Yer will premiere on ATV in the new season.
