‘Family Secrets’ Finale: An Unforgettable Farewell Event

Kanal D‘s International Emmy-winning series Family Secrets bid a final farewell to the screen with an unforgettable event held in Istanbul. Fans from around the world gathered in the city to join the cast and crew for one last viewing of the beloved show.

After the red carpet walk, the show’s screenwriter Sema Ergenekon said she struggled to hold back her tears and was filled with immense gratitude.

‘Family Secrets’ Cast Reflects on the Beloved Series

Pınar Deniz said, “My emotions are very mixed. We started this journey with such great dedication and enthusiasm. Now, knowing that our story will end after three seasons makes me very sad. I am sure I will be even more upset in the future. However, I am very happy to have been a part of such a project.”

Kaan Urgancıoğlu said, “I feel caught between a farewell and mourning and a celebration. I am very happy that we finished with success and pride. It is a great honor for me to be part of such a project.”

Uğur Polat, who played the character Yekta, stated, “I have been an actor for so many years and have never seen anything like this.”

Uğur Aslan, who played the beloved character Eren, expressed his feelings, “We are very emotional and very sad. I wish there were people in our team with a bit of malice; it would have been much easier to part ways. I don’t want to leave.”

The producer of the series, Kerem Çatay, said, “We had a wonderful three years. It will be an unforgettable memory. I thank the entire team very much.”

Demirören Medya TV Group President Murat Yancı said, “We have come to the end of a magnificent story. Family Secrets passed like a whirlwind, even a storm. It was eagerly watched not only in Türkiye but in many countries around the world. We are proud that it is loved so much in many countries. I thank all the friends who contributed. Our collaboration with Ay Yapım will continue in the coming period. We will meet the audience again with projects that are at least as beautiful as Family Secrets.”

All proceeds from the night will be donated to the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV), primarily to support the education of young people in the earthquake-affected regions.
