International distributor Eccho Rights has officially expanded its reach within the Central and Eastern European (CEE) markets, finalizing a fresh wave of licensing agreements for several of its top-tier Turkish dramas.
These new partnerships highlight the sustained regional demand for Turkey’s high-production-value storytelling and emotional narratives.
The expanded slate includes the following strategic sales:
- I Am Mother: This intense emotional journey, produced by O3 Medya, has been acquired by MTVA in Hungary and IMEDI in Georgia. The series follows a resilient woman’s struggle to rediscover her identity and start over following a life-altering betrayal.

- Golden Boy: The global ratings hit from OGM Pictures has found a new home on Slovakia’s Voyo. The plot focuses on the transformation of a spoiled billionaire heir whose world is turned upside down by a forced arranged marriage.

- Cennet: Ukraine’s Bigudi has picked up this classic melodrama from Surec Film. The story revolves around a young woman who was abandoned as an infant and eventually returns as an adult to face the influential family that rejected her.

Berkin Nalbantli, Sales Executive for CEE and Africa at Eccho Rights, said: “These series each tell a very different story, but they share the same emotional core that CEE audiences respond to so strongly; complex characters navigating betrayal, identity and resilience. Themes like these cut across borders, and right now buyers in the region are very clear about what they are looking for. Turkish drama continues to deliver it.”
The agreements highlight the ongoing demand for Turkish primetime storytelling across CEE, where broadcasters continue to rely on strong character driven dramas to anchor their schedules.
