Change in One Love: Settar Tanrıöğen Left the Series

Among the most popular domestic series of recent times, and consistently ranking in the top three in ratings every week, One Love has experienced a significant cast change. The broadcaster of the series, Show TV, announced that Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan will replace Settar Tanrıöğen in the role of Abdullah Ünal.

WHY DID SETTAR TANRIÖĞEN LEAVE ONE LOVE?

In an official statement shared via Show TV‘s official account, it was stated that Settar Tanrıöğen had to leave the series due to a brain hemorrhage. The channel mentioned that the veteran actor’s treatment is ongoing in the hospital and informed that Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan will portray the character of Abdullah Ünal starting from the 53rd episode.

Show TV’s statement regarding the matter reads as follows:

“To the Attention of the Public,

Our esteemed actor Settar Tanrıöğen, who brought life to the character of Abdullah Ünal in the rating champion series One Love, produced by Gold Film and broadcasted on Show TV, is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital following a brain hemorrhage.

As Show TV, we have learned from his doctors that our actor, whose recovery period needs to continue for a while longer, is closely monitoring the treatment process.

Show TV and Gold Film express our gratitude to Settar Tanrıöğen for the value he added to our series and wish him a speedy recovery.

Starting from Episode 53 of the series airing this week, the character of Abdullah Ünal will be taken over by another esteemed actor, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan…
