As NEM Dubrovnik 2025 wrapped up, we spoke with Aslı Serim, Head of Sales at Calinos Entertainment, about the company’s experience at this year’s edition. Serim spoke highly of the market, stating it exceeded their expectations. They also hosted a welcoming party, where they presented Romanian drama ANA: You Are in My DNA to guests.

What were your impressions of NEM Dubrovnik 2025?

“NEM Dubrovnik turned out to be even more successful than we expected.” Serim said. “We had the chance to meet with buyers who don’t usually attend other markets, which made it a valuable experience for us. The relaxed and intimate atmosphere of Dubrovnik also made our meetings more enjoyable and productive.”

“On Monday evening, we hosted a welcoming party where we presented our Romanian drama ANA: You Are in My DNA to our guests, with the cast joining us for the occasion, which added a special touch to the night.”

Which titles have you been highlighting at NEM Dubrovnik 2025, and what has been your main focus during the market?

“This year, our catalog is stronger than ever,” Aslı noted. “Not only with our well-known Turkish titles, but also with dramas from Canada, Romania, and the Arab world. While Farah remained one of the highlights, we were glad to see that ANA: You Are in My DNA and the strong production quality of our Arabic dramas also surprised and impressed many buyers.”
