Lionsgate has signed a first-look deal with actor Brandon Sklenar and his production company Vista Lane Pictures.
Under the agreement, Brandon Sklenar will develop and produce feature films for Lionsgate through Vista Lane Pictures.
The partnership follows the global success of The Housemaid. The film, which also stars Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, has grossed $394 million worldwide since its December release.
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group president Erin Westerman praised Sklenar’s talent and expressed excitement about continuing the collaboration: “We’re thrilled to be continuing this partnership with Brandon and Vista Lane and can’t wait to build new stories and opportunities together.”
The actor also gained attention for his role in It Ends With Us, which grossed nearly $350 million globally. He appeared in the series 1923 alongside Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
Sklenar said he founded Vista Lane Pictures to create bold films that inspire and stand the test of time: “Ever since I was a kid, films have been my happy place; bold, exciting films that provoke, inspire and stand the test of time — that’s the reason I started Vista Lane Pictures. Lionsgate shares that vision and I can’t wait to see what we create together,” Sklenar said.
