BBC Studios partners with CosmoBlue Media to expand its presence across the MENA region and Türkiye.

CosmoBlue Media will now oversee the exclusive distribution of BBC Studios’ linear and digital channel portfolio in the region, including BBC First, BBC Earth and CBeebies.

As part of the partnership, a new entertainment channel will debut and BBC Player will receive a regional rollout through its integration into CosmoBlue Media’s flagship platform CosmoGO.

The collaboration seeks to deliver locally relevant, culturally adapted, high-quality content. The deal will broaden BBC Studios’ footprint in Türkiye and the MENA region.

CosmoBlue Media Co-Founder and Group CEO Berk Uziyel commented on the deal: “We are delighted to partner with BBC Studios and to bring their strong channels and content to the MENAT region. This strategic partnership reflects on our common attitude towards high-quality storytelling, cultural adaptation and platform innovation.”

Meanwhile BBC Studios Global Channels & Streaming EMEA President Arran Tindall said: “This agreement is a significant part of our strategy to form innovative collaborations in EMEA that reveals the full potential of our channels, premium content, linear and on-demand portfolio. This partnership, being a critical step towards a stronger structure in Türkiye and MENA, will help our impressive content reach new audiences across all platforms and drive engagement.”
