Banijay Entertainment Chairman Jeff Zucker and CEO Marco Bassetti are set to headline a keynote conversation at MIPCOM Cannes 2026 on October 12, marking their first joint appearance on stage following the company’s merger.
The session will offer an inside look at the newly combined Banijay Entertainment and its plans for the next phase of growth as the global entertainment industry faces continued consolidation, changing distribution models and pressure on commissioning.

Following the merger, Banijay Entertainment brings together global production and distribution operations with expanded capabilities across digital, live entertainment and sport. The company positions the newly combined group as the world’s largest independent studio.

The keynote will form part of MIPCOM Cannes’ 2026 conference programme, From Story to Scale, which will examine the business models, partnerships and strategies shaping the global entertainment industry.
MIPCOM Cannes 2026 will take place from October 12–15 in Cannes, with the keynote featuring Zucker and Bassetti scheduled for Monday, October 12.
