The nominations for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards have been officially revealed, marking the start of the 2026 awards season. As one of the most closely followed ceremonies in the global film and television industry, the Golden Globes once again reflect the year’s biggest achievements across both the big and small screens. This year’s lineup also stands out with the continued expansion of content categories and the growing visibility of the newly added podcast award.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, and will be broadcast live. Comedian Nikki Glaser will return as host for a second consecutive year.

On the film side, Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another leads the pack with nine nominations, making it the most nominated title of the year. It is followed closely by Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value with eight nominations and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners with seven nominations.

In television, HBO’s The White Lotus continues its awards momentum, earning six nominations for its third season and emerging as the most recognized drama series this year. Netflix’s breakout hit Adolescence follows with five nominations, while Only Murders in the Building and Severance both picked up four nominations each.

As part of the 83rd Golden Globe celebrations, two major honorary awards will also be presented at the special “Golden Eve” event. Helen Mirren will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, while Sarah Jessica Parker will be honored with the Carol Burnett Award.
