Filming for the MCU’s (Marvel Cinematic Universe) next Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, began a few weeks ago in Glasgow. The film will serve as a direct sequel to 2021’s No Way Home, in which Peter Parker’s identity was erased from everyone’s memory. The latest addition to the cast is Emmy-nominated actor Tramell Tillman.

Tillman, best known for his role as Seth Milchick in Apple TV+’s acclaimed series Severance, will make his MCU debut in the film. While his character has not yet been revealed, fans are eager to see how he’ll fit into the story alongside Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.

Furthermore, Tillman has also drawn attention as an openly gay Black actor with a strong stage background. Most recently, he appeared in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, starring Tom Cruise.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Mark Ruffalo returns as Bruce Banner (Hulk), Jon Bernthal reprises his role as the Punisher, and the film also features Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Michael Mando.

MCU’s fourth solo Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is scheduled to hit theaters on July 24, 2026.
