Netflix shared the official trailer of its new series Kübra, directed by Yağmur Taylan and Durul Taylan and starring Çağatay Ulusoy.
Produced by Onur Güvenatam and adapted from Afşin Kum’s novel of the same name, Kübra is about Gökhan, a young and modest man in his own way, whose life changes as a result of receiving some mysterious messages on his phone and finding himself in unexpected events.
The series, which attracts attention with its gripping story, tension and high tempo, brings together successful names such as Aslıhan Malbora, Ahsen Eroğlu, Nazan Kesal, Cihan Talay, Aytek Şayan and Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan as well as Çağatay Ulusoy.
Kübra, which invites the audience on a questioning journey about miracles, choices and realities, is only on Netflix on 18 January at the same time with the whole world.
THE STORY OF THE SERIES
Gökhan is an ordinary young man living in one of the suburbs of Istanbul, trying to get his life on the road to marry the love of his life. This ordinary life starts to change with a message from an account named Kübra in a virtual application he is a member of: “You are different!” Gökhan realises in time the meaning of this message, which he did not care at first, and who Kübra is, who gives him information and warnings about unexpected events that no one knows about. Gökhan’s acceptance of this reality leads him on a challenging journey. In this journey, Gökhan will have enemies as well as supporters. And Gökhan will find himself as a party to a war that he sees as “the war of darkness and light”.
