Sphere Abacus is strengthening its acquisitions operation with the appointment of Niki Page as Acquisitions Manager, a newly created role covering both scripted and unscripted content.
Page will work with Global Content Director Will Stapley as the company continues to expand its international catalogue. She joins Sphere Abacus after serving as Commercial SVP at AI-focused production company Deep Fusion.
What Will Niki Page Bring to Sphere Abacus?
Page brings nearly three decades of experience across the UK and international media sectors, with previous senior positions at Sky, Fremantle, Channel 4 and Red Arrow, now Seven.One.
Her background spans content distribution, rights acquisitions, commercial strategy and producer partnerships. She has worked on unscripted titles including Jamie Oliver, Don’t Tell the Bride, Chateau DIY and The Wine Show, alongside scripted series such as Shameless and The Inbetweeners.
Her appointment comes as the company continues to build its multi-genre catalogue and expand its relationships with producers and international content partners.
Will Stapley comments “I’m delighted that Niki has joined us at this exciting time of growth for Sphere Abacus. She brings with her a wealth of experience, knowledge and strong producer relationships that will help us continue to build on the quality and quantity of new unscripted and scripted projects in our catalogue.’
Niki Page adds “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Sphere Abacus. It’s a fantastic company with an incredibly talented team and an impressive catalogue, and I’m excited to be part of it and to bring my experience, relationships and passion for great content to the business.”
