‘She Said Yes’: Filming of Netflix Germany’s Romantic Comedy Begins in Türkiye

The filming of Netflix Germany’s upcoming romantic comedy She Said Yes has kicked off in Türkiye. A large part of the movie, which involves Turkish crews, takes place in Türkiye and tells a story that spans from Hamburg to Istanbul.

About “She Said Yes*”

Mavi, born and raised in Germany, finds out after a failed marriage proposal that she belongs to one of the wealthiest families in Istanbul. Now, despite all the cultural differences, she must adapt to her new, large family, led by her strict grandmother. Mavi tries to balance her life in Germany with her new dream-like life in Türkiye, and her relationship with her fiancé, Can, faces challenges from the intrigues and tempting situations they encounter.

The cast of She Said Yes includes Beritan Balcı, Sinan Güleç, Serkan Çayoğlu, Katja Riemann, Caroline Daur, Cansu Tosun, Meral Perin, and Mehmet Ateşçi. The film is produced by CB Medya and Dark Bay, with producers Saner Ayar, Cengiz Çağatay, Nurhan Şekerci-Porst, and Faruk Özerten. The screenplay is written by İpek Zübert, and the film is directed by Ngo The Chau. The scenes in Hamburg are directed by Buket Alakuş.
