NOW’s new series Sevdam Karadeniz has released its first teaser. Produced by Mia Yapım, the series stars Meltem Akçöl and Erdem Adilce.
Directed by Aytaç Çiçek, the first teaser offers the first glimpses of the characters Zeyşan and Kuzey, played by Akçöl and Adilce. It also features scenes from the series’ ongoing shoot in Trabzon, highlighting the Black Sea landscape.
The cast also includes Ayşegül Günay, Şerif Erol and Deniz Hamzaoğlu. The story centers on a longstanding feud between two established families in the Black Sea region. The conflict, which begins with the unfinished love story of Hafize Alazlı and Durali Yeniceli, eventually leads their grandchildren Zeyşan and Kuzey into a forced marriage years later. Caught between secrets, forbidden romances and vows of revenge, the two young people must make a choice that could change the fate of their families.
Written by Özge Korkmaz and Yeşim Gülay, Sevdam Karadeniz will premiere on NOW in the new season.
