Secuoya Studios announces the appointment of Alfredo Bermúdez de Castro Berbel as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Bermúdez de Castro will lead the studio’s overall operations management, oversee the organizational development of its various divisions, and drive process optimization with the goal of enhancing production capacity and global positioning.

“Alfredo’s arrival marks a qualitative leap forward in our leadership structure. His solid experience in management, corporate strategy, and ability to translate strategic vision into tangible business results bring a distinctive value to this new phase of the studio’s growth,” said Brendan Fitzgerald, CEO of Secuoya Studios. “His integrative vision and his capacity to align talent, processes, and strategic objectives will be key to further accelerating the international development of our operations.”

With more than fifteen years of senior management experience, Alfredo Bermúdez de Castro has built a career that combines audiovisual law, corporate management, and executive leadership within the entertainment sector of a major global technology company. He holds a dual degree in Law and International Business Administration, and brings extensive expertise in high-impact international transactions across media and entertainment, as well as innovative structuring of complex audiovisual operations for the optimal protection and exploitation of IPs. Prior to joining Secuoya Studios, he served as Business Affairs Executive at Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, specializing in the negotiation of multiple successful Amazon Original productions, strategic content acquisition deals, and cross-functional coordination, reporting directly to Hollywood, CA. He previously held the position of Senior Associate at international law firms Andersen and Écija.

At Secuoya Studios, Bermúdez de Castro will oversee the efficiency and cohesion of all divisions, optimizing global project management and strengthening a culture of operational excellence. His appointment will further reinforce the studio’s international reach as it continues its expansion strategy across Europe, Latin America, and the United States.
