Merzigo has announced a new season of its hit dating reality series Qesma W Naseeb: Alarusat & Alhamaat, produced exclusively for Prime Video.

After building a strong audience on YouTube, where the franchise has attracted more than three million subscribers, the series is making its debut as a Prime Video Original. Produced by M Networks, the joint venture between Merzigo and Melon Digital, the new 120-episode season is now streaming across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The format follows contestants living together as they navigate relationships and emotional challenges, while brides-to-be compete alongside their future mothers-in-law. Alongside its dating premise, the series explores themes such as tradition and modernity, women’s independence and intergenerational conflict, as the contestants test whether their relationships can withstand the pressures they face.

Yigit Dogan Celik, Chairman & CEO, Merzigo, said, “We are proud to bring Qesma W Naseeb: Alarusat & Alhamaat to Prime Video with a season created specifically for its subscribers. This new season extends the concept of the show and adds a new dynamic to the everyday relationship between brides and their mothers-in-law.”

He continued, “The journey of Qesma W Naseeb: Alarusat & Alhamaat shows what happens when a format proves itself natively: it becomes original programming for the world’s biggest streaming services. Our focus on cinematic quality, cultural authenticity, and digital participation built an audience first, and that audience is what travels with the show wherever it goes.”

Since launching in 2024, Qesma W Naseeb: Alarusat & Alhamaat has become one of the most-watched digital reality franchises in the Arabic-speaking world, with more than three million subscribers and over two billion lifetime views on its YouTube channel. The series is shot on location in Türkiye and is published on a daily, broadcast-style schedule.

The new commission underscores a broader industry shift that formats born and proven on one platform are no longer confined to the same platform. A show that builds its fanbase natively in the creator economy can now be commissioned as original programming by global streamers, carrying its audience, data, and cultural footprint with it. For content owners, this pathway transforms a single IP into a compounding asset, validated at scale on open platforms, and then extended into premium SVOD environments without losing the authenticity that built its original fan base.
