Paramount+ has approved a new unscripted relationship series titled Making Love, created by US-based production company Kinetic Content, the team behind Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight.
Led by Kinetic principal Chris Coelen, who also serves as executive producer, the series is described as a “fresh take on romance” and is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
The show is billed as a bold experiment in relationships, where singles take control of their own destinies and attempt to transform their desires into lasting love. At the same time, Kinetic Content is part of Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company, which is in the process of being acquired by France’s Mediawan. Once finalized, Mediawan will consolidate around 100 production companies across 15 countries, with an annual production volume exceeding US$2 billion.
Jane Wiseman, Paramount+’s head of originals, emphasized that the series aligns with premium, pop-culture-driven unscripted storytelling and will reintroduce this format to Paramount+ in a fresh, unexpected way.
