OTTera, a leading provider of OTT (Over-The-Top) applications and FAST (Free Ad Supported TV) channel solutions, announced the acquisition of Float Left. OTTera acquired Float Left, a technology company with a decade of experience in the OTT sector and a former IMDS subsidiary, from IV Mediya, LLC.

According to OTTera, the acquisition marks a milestone in its growth strategy, strengthening its team and expanding the scope of services it offers to its customers globally.

Strenghten OTTera’s market position

Float Left brings a decade of experience launching applications across major platforms, with a strong focus on front-end development and third-party integrations.  This strategic investment aligns with OTTera’s commitment to leverage Float Left’s expertise, particularly in front-end development, to diversify services and strengthen its market position.

Stephen L. Hodge, CEO of OTTera, emphasized the acquisition’s significance, stating, “This move highlights our dedication to remaining at the forefront of the ever-evolving OTT landscape. The addition of Float Left’s experienced team is a substantial asset, enhancing our capability to provide a continually improved set of OTT solutions and reinforcing our industry presence. It underscores our commitment to delivering unparalleled value to our partners and clients in the dynamic world of streaming.”

According to OTTera, with the acquisition now complete, the focus shifts to building a stronger, global solution that preserves Float Left’s strengths and values while fostering collaboration and innovation.
