OneTwoThree Media Introduces Limited Series Lineup, Expanding Its Global Storytelling Strategy

Las Vegas-based international sales agent OneTwoThree Media is presenting its first slate of limited television series at MIPCOM 2025, marking a strategic expansion beyond its established feature film portfolio.

Leading the lineup is the pandemic thriller 8 Billion, directed by Harald Franklin and filmed across Germany, Switzerland, and Ukraine. The series stars Alan Burgon, Davina Reeves, and Sergey Denga in a chilling tale that explores the dark intersection of science, corporate power, and global ethics. When a renowned virologist is recruited by a Swiss pharmaceutical giant to engineer a universal vaccine, he unwittingly becomes part of a sinister plan to unleash a supervirus on a defenseless population. As the stakes escalate, he must risk everything to stop a catastrophe that threatens all of humanity.

Also debuting is Land of Smiles, a psychological crime drama inspired by true events. Set against the vibrant yet shadowy backdrop of Thailand, the series follows a charming sociopath and his mistress as they lure wealthy foreign men into a deadly trap. Over three years, they commit a string of brutal murders while draining their victims’ bank accounts. Despite mounting evidence, authorities fail to intervene until the killer vanishes, leaving behind a trail of horror and unanswered questions. The series stars Jean- Marc Birkholz, Sasi Pee Somboon, and Anthony Straeger, and was filmed entirely on location in Thailand.

With global audiences increasingly drawn to serialized content and streamers prioritizing binge-worthy limited series, OneTwoThree Media is embracing the format to meet evolving buyer demand. The move reflects a broader industry trend where prestige television offers greater flexibility, deeper character development, and stronger international licensing potential. By leveraging its cinematic storytelling roots, the company aims to deliver high-impact series that resonate across platforms and territories.
