Las Vegas-based international sales agent OneTwoThree Media is presenting its first slate of limited television series at MIPCOM 2025, marking a strategic expansion beyond its established feature film portfolio.

Leading the lineup is the pandemic thriller 8 Billion, directed by Harald Franklin and filmed across Germany, Switzerland, and Ukraine. The series stars Alan Burgon, Davina Reeves, and Sergey Denga in a chilling tale that explores the dark intersection of science, corporate power, and global ethics. When a renowned virologist is recruited by a Swiss pharmaceutical giant to engineer a universal vaccine, he unwittingly becomes part of a sinister plan to unleash a supervirus on a defenseless population. As the stakes escalate, he must risk everything to stop a catastrophe that threatens all of humanity.

Also debuting is Land of Smiles, a psychological crime drama inspired by true events. Set against the vibrant yet shadowy backdrop of Thailand, the series follows a charming sociopath and his mistress as they lure wealthy foreign men into a deadly trap. Over three years, they commit a string of brutal murders while draining their victims’ bank accounts. Despite mounting evidence, authorities fail to intervene until the killer vanishes, leaving behind a trail of horror and unanswered questions. The series stars Jean- Marc Birkholz, Sasi Pee Somboon, and Anthony Straeger, and was filmed entirely on location in Thailand.

With global audiences increasingly drawn to serialized content and streamers prioritizing binge-worthy limited series, OneTwoThree Media is embracing the format to meet evolving buyer demand. The move reflects a broader industry trend where prestige television offers greater flexibility, deeper character development, and stronger international licensing potential. By leveraging its cinematic storytelling roots, the company aims to deliver high-impact series that resonate across platforms and territories.

“We’re thrilled to bring these bold, globally resonant stories to the television space,” said Alan Green, VP of Sales for OneTwoThree Media. “Both 8 Billion and Land of Smiles reflect our commitment to high-stakes storytelling with international appeal and cinematic production values.”

OneTwoThree Media will be presenting both series as well as Feature films and Documentaries to buyers and partners at their booth throughout MIPCOM 2025.
