Off the Fence has secured worldwide distribution rights outside the U.S. for Orange County Choppers Original, a six-part revival of the motorcycle factual franchise that began with American Choppers in 2002.

Off the Fence’s deal with Hearst Networks marks the first international sale for the new series. The agreement was brokered by Off the Fence SVP of North America and Global Networks Sam Thompson and Hearst Networks Acquisitions Manager Hannah Gray.

A new chapter for a long-running franchise

The new series has aired in the U.S. on Discovery Channel, Discovery Turbo TV, Discovery+ and Discovery GO. The original American Choppers became a global factual hit, airing in 160 territories and 35 languages, and went on to generate spin-offs, merchandise and live events. Orange County Choppers Original has already been renewed for a second season, bringing the total order to 12 episodes.

Paul Teutul Sr., founder and CEO of Orange County Choppers, returns as the central figure and executive producer. The series follows his Florida workshop as he reunites with members of the original team while working alongside new talent. Alongside the motorcycle builds, the show explores Teutul’s charity work, animal welfare activities and life on his hobby farm.

Each episode follows the team as they design and build custom motorcycles for charitable causes, tackling engineering challenges and tight deadlines before the completed bikes are auctioned or raffled to raise funds and awareness.

“Orange County Choppers has everything we look for in great factual entertainment: big builds, strong characters and plenty of heart,” said Hannah Gray. “With Paul Sr. back at the centre of the story, we’re excited to bring this new chapter to UK audiences.”

Joan Kay, co-CEO of OCC, said: “Everyone loves a comeback story and this one comes with the rebirth of an iconic brand and frankly, Paul Sr is kicking ass. We’re very excited to partner with OTF on the global revival of the show as the company shares our values of working with entertainment with purpose and has an enviable reach and network of partners around the world across all platforms.”

Sam Thompson added: “We’ve seized this opportunity wholeheartedly because the facts speak for themselves. There’s an existing fanbase hungry for more, with proven ratings, engagement, sponsorship, and merchandising potential. We’re especially excited to have Hearst Networks on board as a quality broadcast partner and look forward to sharing the rollout of this rare gem.”
