Netflix has released a new trailer for the second season of Lee Sung Jin’s anthology series Beef.
The season stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny, and Seoyeon Jang. Season 2 opens with a Gen-Z couple witnessing a heated argument between their Millennial boss and his wife.

Newly engaged Ashley Miller (Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Melton), who work at the lower levels of a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of General Manager Joshua Martín (Isaac) and his wife Lindsay Crane-Martín (Mulligan).

Throughout the season, both couples vie for the approval of the club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), who is also dealing with her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho).

Season 2 of Beef consists of eight episodes, with Lee serving as creator, executive producer, and showrunner, alongside executive producers Jake Schreier, Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Mulligan, Isaac, Melton, Spaeny, and others. The studio behind the production is A24.

The first season, which starred Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, premiered in 2023 and went on to win multiple awards, including Emmys, Critics Choice Awards, Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and more. Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on April 16.
