NATPE Budapest 2025 continues today with its third day, Wednesday, June 25th, at the InterContinental Hotel Budapest. Episode Magazine is proud to be a media partner of this event, and we’re excited to be here with our special NATPE Budapest 2025 issue.

Here is a recap of the third day of NATPE Budapest 2025:

The day began with the panel “View from the Top: Where Do We Go from Here?”, where leading CEE executives took the stage to share their visions for the future of the industry. They emphasized the need for both innovation and collaboration to successfully adapt to change and build a resilient regional media ecosystem.

Next up was “CEE Breakout Hits,” where Georgi R. Chakarov offered an overview of the past TV season, highlighting some of the most successful premieres from across the region. Among them, Mega’s daily family comedy series I Have Children emerged as a true breakout hit, leading its primetime slot with a 16.7% market share, well above the channel’s primetime average in the commercial demo after six months on air.

Romanian viewers, meanwhile, embraced the nostalgia of the 2000s with the premiere of Our Father, a prequel to PRO TV’s popular action series The Clan. The show drew nearly 1.4 million viewers, earning a 7.8 rating and a 20.9% market share.

Another standout is Markíza’s The Promise, a new daily access period drama that has topped audience charts since its early 2025 debut. The series first broke the 40% share mark and achieved a record 45.4% in the commercial demo on April 30. For comparison, the channel’s all-day average share is around 24%.

Later in the day, attendees got a rare behind-the-scenes look during “Cracking the Code Behind Talpa Studios’ Global Hits,” which explored the creative process, global partnerships, and key factors behind Talpa’s international success.

NATPE Budapest 2025 day 3 concluded with another edition of Format Features, where executives from trailblazing companies, such as Ákos Erdos of Paprika Studios Group and Aleksander Herresthal of Seefood TV, shared insights into developing breakout formats and leveraging global market shifts to drive international sales.

Episode Magazine will be present throughout the event, providing daily coverage and updates.
