MUBI in FT’s list of Europe’s fastest growing companies

MUBI has been recognised as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies, retaining its top position in the Financial Times’ prestigious FT 1000 list.

The company has announced that it has been recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies. The company has secured sixth place in the media and telecommunications sector by being named in the FT 1000 for the third year running.

MUBI’S ANNUAL GROWTH RATE: 73 PERCENT

The FT 1000 2024 index takes into account the highest compound annual growth rates of European companies on a revenue basis between 2019 and 2022. MUBI’s annual growth rate of 73 percent has made it one of the fastest growing companies in Europe.

Founded in 2007 by Efe Cakarel, MUBI is an online film selection, production and distribution company accessible from 190 countries worldwide. With over 16 million members, MUBI is home to the world’s largest community of film lovers.

MAJORITY STAKE IN CINEART

In January 2022, the company acquired the famous production company The Match Factory and Match Factory Productions, and in February 2024, it acquired a majority stake in the famous film distributor Cinéart.
