Diversify TV Awards, which will take place for the 7th time this year, will be the scene of one of the exciting ceremonies at MIPCOM Cannes. The ceremony will take place in the Grand Auditorium of the world-renowned Palais des Festivals in Cannes on day two of MIPCOM CANNES on 17th of October.
According to the official announcement of MIPCOM Cannes the goals of the awards are as follows:
“MIPCOM CANNES Diversify TV Awards aim to bring attention to deserving programmes of diverse and inclusive background, spotlighting authentic new and established voices and recognising positive programming across the year that embraces excellent representation in exemplary shows.”
Awards are given in the ‘Race and Ethnicity (scripted and unscripted)’, ‘Disability (scripted and unscripted)’, ‘LGBTQIA+ (scripted and unscripted)’, ‘KIDS all genres (pre-school and older children)’, ‘Behind-the-Scenes Impact’ categories.
