On MIPCOM 2025‘s third day, we got together with Mustafa Aydoğan, TRT Sales Content Sales Manager, to hear the company’s thoughts on this year’s edition. In the interview, Aydoğan has highlighted their new series, Children of Paradise and Deep in Love, as well as their existing titles, Fatih: Sultan of Conquests, The Shadow Team, and An Anatolian Tale.

How was MIPCOM 2025 for TRT Sales?

We had an intensive meeting schedule at MIPCOM 2025; we sometimes held up to 4-5 meetings simultaneously. But we shouldn’t think of the number of meetings only in terms of quantity; they were also high-quality and efficient meetings for us. We met with companies we closed deals in principle and those from which we expect positive returns. It has been quite productive so far. We also have meetings with important clients, channels, and companies on Thursday and Friday. We believe we will progress toward final results with them as well.

Which content did you highlight at MIPCOM 2025? What can you say about this content?

We have two new content pieces at this market: Children of Paradise and Deep in Love. Both were received very positively by the clients we presented them to, and the feedback is excellent. We believe we will quickly move to the contract stage once the market is over.

Apart from these, we have our continuing series with new seasons starting: Fatih: Sultan of Conquests and The Shadow Team, and An Anatolian Tale. The interest coming from various regions for them continues to grow. We are quite happy with the interest we have encountered.

Why do you think these series attracted so much interest?

As you know, TRT Sales is strong, especially regarding historical dramas. However, this year, compared to previous seasons, we are in a stronger position with the female-led dramas, namely Children of Paradise and Deep in Love. Our content has diversified, and we have started appealing to the international market with different genres.

Children of Paradise, written by the screenwriter of our very successful series, An Anatolian Tale. We believe it will stand out in terms of the story compared to other dramas.

As for Deep in Love, like Children of Paradise, it is a production that we believe will be successful in terms of both the story and the cast. It made a strong debut in Türkiye, and the ratings made us happy; we expect its momentum to increase. Like our other content, we are working with a powerful producer, OGM Pictures, which has achieved success both in Türkiye and abroad.
