Marc Jacobs is promoting his pre-fall fashion collection with a new micro drama series, The Swap.

The micro drama tells the story of an accidental bag swap at the Marc Jacobs Runway show that sparks a series of chance encounters and mixups.

The show, described as part of a slate of content bridging the worlds of fashion, culture and entertainment, is created by Question Mark. Rowan Blanchard and Jemima Kirke star  in the micro series, with playwright and actor Jeremy O. Harris making a cameo.

Rowan Blanchard said, “This project is imaginative, character-driven and fun. That’s what makes it feel so Marc Jacobs, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.”

“This campaign is a storybook homage to a New York woman and the ways she lives her day to day, about two opposite women looking for one another in a massive city. As native New Yorkers they’re able to find the common ground by paying attention to the details,” said Jemima Kirke.

Episodes of The Swap will be released on Marc Jacobs’ dedicated YouTube channel and other social media platforms.
