The international audiovisual landscape is turning its eyes to the Mediterranean as CONECTA Magaluf–Mallorca confirms the 2026 edition of its prestigious strategic think tank, Conecta CREATIVE LAB.
Scheduled for Monday, May 25, in Palma de Mallorca, this exclusive gathering marks a significant milestone in strengthening the island’s position as a premier global hub for media and entertainment leaders.
Set against the backdrop of Mallorca’s most iconic landmarks, including the historic Castell de Bellver and the Centro Cultural La Misericordia, the event will host high-level, closed-door sessions. These meetings are designed to provide industry titans with exclusive access to real-time data regarding the structural shifts within the global market, while fostering deep analysis of emerging opportunities and the complex challenges of the digital era.
Géraldine Gonard, Director of CONECTA Magaluf–Mallorca, stated: “Conecta CREATIVE LAB is a core part of the CONECTA ecosystem. Its purpose is not merely to observe the industry, but to actively help transform it through shared knowledge and the new connections generated among participating professionals.”
The day will bring together leading international consulting, analytics, and research firms, whose experts will provide exclusive data and moderate each of the discussion and reflection panels. Among them are Gloria Saló (GECA), Laure Steinville (Glance) Diego de la Vega (European Audiovisual Observatory), Sophie Valais (European Audiovisual Observatory), and Jaime Otero (Parrot Analytics).
As a result of the meeting, the CONECTA Mallorca Report will be produced, a strategic document outlining key conclusions and recommendations for the future of the audiovisual sector.
Over its various editions, Conecta CREATIVE LAB has established itself as a high-value industry gathering where participating professionals strengthen their networks in a unique networking environment. It is currently the only think tank within the global ecosystem of audiovisual industry events.
The event, supported by the Consell de Mallorca and the Palma Town Council, opens registration today for industry professionals. With investors and senior executives from the audiovisual sector already confirmed, attendance will be limited to 80 participants.
