Ay Yapım’s adaptation of Brazil’s hit series Avenida Brasil, Leyla: Hayat… Aşk… Adalet… (Life… Love… Justice…) aired its first episode last night (September 11).
Before the premiere, lead actress Cemre Baysel spoke about her role. “What I was looking for was a strong, independent, and intelligent woman. When I read her story, her journey of revenge excited me deeply. That’s why I wanted so much to bring her to life,” she said.

The cast features Cemre Baysel, Alperen Duymaz, Gonca Vuslateri, Yiğit Kirazcı, Halil İbrahim Ceyhan, Gamze Karaduman, Dilara Aksüyek, Seda Güven, Meltem Baytok, Melisa Duru Ünal, Berfin Ant, alongside Zeyno Eracar, Mustafa Avkıran, and Cengiz Bozkurt. The series is directed by Hilal Saral, known for her work on shows like Forbidden Love and Fatmagul.
The second episode will air on Wednesday, September 18, on NOW TV.
