Kyle Gallner has officially joined the cast of Sony Pictures’ highly anticipated creature-horror film, Skeletons, where he will star alongside Academy Award winner Brie Larson.
The project is directed by JT Mollner and produced by J.J. Abrams.
The film offers a modern take on the creature-horror genre, unfolding from the perspective of a young boy who gradually uncovers the disturbing secrets his parents are hiding about his mother’s true nature. The screenplay was written by Brian Duffield, based on a short story by Philip Fracassi, with additional revisions by director JT Mollner.
Skeletons marks a reunion for Gallner and Mollner following their collaboration on Strange Darling. Gallner, whose previous work in the genre includes Smile, Smile 2, and The Passenger, brings his proven horror expertise to this new project, further heightening expectations for the film.
