Preparations are underway for Grand Maison İstanbul, a new eight-episode streaming series starring Kerem Bürsin. The actor is set to play Ateş Leventoğlu, a talented and charismatic chef at the center of the story.
Produced by Dass Yapım, the series is based on the acclaimed Japanese drama Grand Maison Tokyo. Filming is expected to take place primarily in the coastal town of Urla, with the project slated to premiere on Prime Video.
The production team is still searching for the actress who will portray the female lead, Defne, while the director has yet to be officially announced.
Meanwhile, Kerem Bürsin’s upcoming volleyball-themed feature film Çizginin Dışında, in which he stars opposite Alina Boz, has reportedly been postponed, with production now scheduled to begin at a later date.
