Inter Medya, one of Türkiye’s leading content distribution and production companies, has announced its strategic entry into the vertical drama space.

The company has officially commenced production on its first original vertical drama series, marking a significant step in its ongoing expansion.

In addition to developing its own titles, the company plans to broaden its vertical drama distribution catalog by collaborating with leading producers and acquiring third-party projects. This multi-faceted strategy aims to build a diverse slate of premium vertical dramas and position Inter Medya as a key global partner for platforms seeking high-quality, mobile-first content.

Underscoring Inter Medya’s leadership in this emerging field, Hasret Özcan, President of Inter Medya, will participate as a featured speaker in the “Vertical Drama: The Future of Mobile Storytelling” panel at MIPCOM 2025 in Cannes. The panel will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 15:15 at the MIPCreative Hub, Palais des Festivals. Özcan will share insights into the company’s vision for vertical content, the opportunities it offers for global partnerships, and how Turkish storytelling continues to evolve across new formats and platforms.
