Halef: Köklerin Çağrısı, an ambitious new series produced by Most Production and executive produced by Gül Oğuz, is gearing up for filming with reading rehearsals, scheduled to premiere on NOW in the upcoming season.
The series’s leading cast, İlhan Şen, Aybüke Pusat, and Biran Damla Yılmaz, have gathered with director Deniz Çelebi Dikilitaş and screenwriter Ercan Uğur for their first script reading. Set in the enchanting atmosphere of Urfa, the story’s powerful energy was already felt at the table.
The details of the plot, shaped by love, revenge, and deeply rooted secrets, have generated immense excitement among the cast’s performances during rehearsals. The crew will continue its preparations for scenes that will be shot at historical locations in Urfa, before filming begins in July.
Halef: A Man Caught Between Love, Power, and Secrets
In Halef: Köklerin Çağrısı, Serhat, a highly successful surgeon, turns his back on the fate tied to his birthplace and builds a completely new life for himself in İstanbul. This choice unexpectedly brings Melek into his life. Serhat falls in love with Melek at first sight, and secretly marries her against his family’s wishes. But fate has another surprise for him: Serhat is forced to return to Urfa, where he finds himself in the middle of a bitter feud between two rival families and the past he tried to escape for years.
