Eccho Rights signed deals with Indonesian broadcasters for three Turkish drama series.
This move is presented as Turkish dramas’ return to the Asian market and is a result of the renewed demand. Berkin Nalbantli, Sales Consultant CEE & Asia at Eccho Rights underlines this, saying: “It has been a challenging market in recent years, but during ATF earlier this month we saw clear signs of renewed appetite for Turkish content across Asia. Broadcasters are again looking for high-quality, emotionally charged storytelling and we are pleased to be part of that momentum returning to the region.”
Previously, Elif had brought major ratings to Eccho Rights and had become one of SCTV’s most-watched titles of the year. SCTV has bought Legacy by Karamel Yapım hoping to repeat that success. While ANTV has bought Winds of Love by Unik Film & Rains Pictures and Behind the Veil by Film Yapım Merkezi.
