OGM Pictures’ hit drama Deep in Love has returned for its second season with double-digit ratings, topping Friday’s Total audience and ranking as the No.1 drama across Türkiye’s key audience groups.
Deep in Love (Taşacak Bu Deniz) made a strong return to TRT 1 on October 2, with its second-season premiere delivering 10.10 in Total, 9.44 in AB and 10.36 in ABC1. The series ranked as the day’s most-watched programme in Total and led the drama category across all three audience groups.
The launch extends the momentum of the series’ first season, which topped Türkiye’s weekly ratings for 31 consecutive weeks. Its Season 2 premiere also marked double-digit performance in both Total and ABC1, reinforcing the appeal of its story built around forbidden love, family loyalties and long-running conflict.
Deep in Love‘s Strong Social and Digital Engagement
The premiere generated 147,077 social media posts, up 66% from the previous reporting period, while almost 40,000 unique users joined the conversation, representing a 40% increase. International engagement was also recorded, with Somera tracking more than 9,600 non-Turkish-language posts, led by Arabic and English alongside Spanish and Portuguese.
The series has also maintained a strong presence on YouTube. Its Season 2 premiere episode reached 13 million views within two days, while the first episode of Season 1 has surpassed 50 million views and the first-season finale has exceeded 22 million.
Set along Türkiye’s Black Sea coast, Season 2 picks up after Esme and Adil reunite with their daughter and marry following two decades apart. Their new life is soon threatened by new enemies and resurfacing family secrets.
The series stars Deniz Baysal, Ulaş Tuna Astepe, Ava Yaman and Burak Yörük. Internationally, Deep in Love is represented by OGM UNIVERSE and TRT Sales, with the first season comprising 108 x 44’ episodes.
