The successful Turkish Drama Deception, produced by TIMS&B Productions and distributed by Inter Medya, secured leading ratings in Italy’s highly competitive prime-time slot.

Aired on Canale 5 last Friday, Deception garnered 2.291.000 viewers and achieved a 14.8% audience share, outperforming Rai 1’s special episode of L’Eredità, which registered 2.009.000 viewers and a 13.8% share. With these results, the series ranked first in the Friday primetime ratings. This marks a significant ratings victory for Turkish content in one of Europe’s most established television markets.

Already licensed to numerous territories worldwide and consistently drawing high viewership wherever it airs, Deception recently concluded its run in Panama, where the final episode made headlines and was watched by millions, reaffirming the series’ broad appeal and storytelling power across cultures.

“These results are a clear reflection of the continuously growing global demand for Turkish drama,” said Can Okan, Founder and CEO of Inter Medya. “We are proud to see Deception connects with audiences across continents, from Europe to Latin America.’
