French animation company Dandelooo is expanding beyond its established children’s and preschool slate with a new division dedicated to teen and young adult animation.

The Emmy Award-winning producer and distributor is launching the division with two original comedy series, Apocalypse Mojito and Armageddon Pizza, both of which take a humorous approach to end-of-the-world scenarios.

“Following the success of Lastman (Everybody on Deck), my colleagues Jean-Baptiste Wéry, Gennarino Romano and I have been looking for the next great 12+ animated series. We are thrilled to kick off this new department with two absurd comedies that tackle eco-anxiety in a fun way and are delighted to be working with the very talented studios JSBC and Passion Paris”, commented Emmanuèle Pétry, Partner & Producer at Dandelooo.

What Is Apocalypse Mojito About?

Produced by Passion Paris and directed by Julien Seze, Apocalypse Mojito is a completed 2D animated comedy consisting of 10 seven-minute episodes.

Set in 2100, the series imagines a world devastated by climate change, technological disruption and the collapse of civilization. At its centre are Yolo and Wazo, two friends travelling from village to city with their mobile open-air café, bringing music and entertainment to the remnants of society.

Through its dystopian setting, the series takes a satirical look at human behaviour and the ways people continue to create problems even after the world has fallen apart.

What Is Armageddon Pizza About?

Currently in production, Armageddon Pizza is a 26 x 13-minute comedy produced by Je Suis Bien Content and directed by Aurélien Bouillon and Fabien Limousin.

The series is set in a Paris overrun by zombies, where the undead are hungry and survivors are desperate for familiar comforts. Against this backdrop, three delivery drivers working for Armageddon Pizza take on the seemingly impossible task of delivering pizzas across the zombie-infested city.

What Will Dandelooo Present at MIPCOM 2026?

With its new division, Dandelooo is looking to broaden its international portfolio with creator-led projects aimed specifically at older audiences.

Apocalypse Mojito and Armageddon Pizza will be presented to international buyers at MIPCOM 2026, marking the first major showcase for Dandelooo’s new teen and young adult-focused strategy.
