Bolytics, a cross-border media company specializing in connecting European content with Asian markets, is proud to announce its pivotal role in architecting the international partnership between Shanghai Media Group’s subsidiary, WingsMedia, and Rakuten TV, marking the official launch of “C-Drama NOW (Magnolia Time)”– the first French-dubbed FAST channel dedicated exclusively to Chinese drama in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Developed to showcase high-quality stories of love, family, and resilience, C-Drama NOW brings the richness of Chinese storytelling to new audiences across Europe. The initiative reflects a growing appetite among European viewers for diverse, character-driven content from Asia and represents a milestone in cross-continental collaboration between China and Europe’s media landscapes.
The official signing ceremony took place on Monday, October 13, during the “Fresh Content from China” panel at MIPCOM 2025 in Cannes, moderated by Bo Zhang, Founder of Bolytics and strategic partner of this business alliance.

“As a Paris-based media hub connecting Asian and European markets, Bolytics is honored to have helped architect the vision and partnership behind this channel. Our mission has always been to design meaningful collaborations that connect cultures through content, strategy, and creative partnerships, turning shared vision into real-world impact. We are thrilled to see ‘C-Drama NOW’ come to fruition and look forward to working with more partners who share our passion for bringing diverse, high-quality stories to global audiences,” said Bo Zhang, Founder of Bolytics.

“We’re delighted to see the collaboration between SMG/WingsMedia, Rakuten TV, and Bolytics bringing Chinese storytelling to new audiences across Europe,” said Guan Rui, Vice President of SMG Pictures and WingsMedia. “It’s a meaningful step in promoting cultural exchange and sharing China’s contemporary creativity with the world.”
Marcos Milanez, Chief Content Officer at Rakuten TV, added: “It’s a pleasure for Rakuten TV to collaborate with SMG and Bolytics, and enable European audiences to access the amazing, top-quality Chinese content that C-Drama Now has to offer.”
The partnership also highlights the expanding influence and accessibility of FAST channels in global content distribution. By leveraging this model, C-Drama NOW offers a fresh and accessible way for audiences to immerse themselves in Chinese culture through compelling and localized storytelling.
