Blue Ant Media is heading to MIPCOM 2026 with more than 45 new and returning titles across premium documentaries, true crime, history, factual entertainment, natural history and science.
The Toronto-based company’s slate combines original productions with returning factual franchises, highlighting a broad range of internationally marketable non-fiction programming.
Documentaries, History and Natural History Take the Spotlight
One of the key titles on the Blue Ant Media slate is The Trial of Alec Baldwin, a 1×120’ documentary directed by Rory Kennedy and produced by Moxie Films. The film follows Alec Baldwin through the legal and personal aftermath of the fatal shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Other documentary highlights include Billion Dollar Hash Hunt, The Poison Seller, South America With Levison Wood and Bettany Hughes’s Lost Worlds: Dawn of Civilisations.
Returning factual and true-crime titles include Killers: Caught on Camera, See No Evil, The Jury: Murder Trial, Northwoods Survival and Gone Fishing. Blue Ant’s history offering features Pharaohs: Rise and Fall, Beyond the Mask: The Story of Tutankhamun, Secret Ops: Revealed and How to Survive History, alongside further royal and military documentaries.
The company’s natural history line-up includes Life On the Edge, Animal Crowds, Big Cats: Nine Lives, Legion of the Shark and Deep in the Heart 2: Texas Rivers, narrated by Ethan Hawke.
